Fix: Component ‘MSCOMCTL.OCX’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
- download the required ocx file from here https://www.ocxme.com/files/mscomctl_ocx
- copy the downloaded file to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 if you are 64bit OS or to C:\Windows\System32 if you are 32bit OS
- run CMD as administrator in the destination folder and run the following command regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx
